Overview
Website Development
TBCo developed a customized website for the project that provides information and engagement opportunities for the public in an accessible, multi-lingual format. The site has become an important outreach tool providing up-to-date details about events as well as interactive surveys and contact forms. TBCo also hosts and maintains the site and tracks and responds to comments and feedback received in the project email.
Survey Development and Collection
In partnership with the Parks and Recreation Department, TBCo created an electronic-based, bilingual survey that community members can easily complete using a cell phone, computer or tablet. Through the website, community events and a targeted email campaign, TBCo collected nearly 5,700 surveys in the first half of the 36-month project.
Community Outreach
TBCo attended more than 20 different community events. The bilingual team
attended half of those outreach events to ensure all backgrounds and ages had an opportunity to provide input.
Collateral Materials Development
TBCo produced a variety of collateral material in support of community outreach efforts. These include banners, posters and signage for off-site events; postcards with QR codes for easy access to the project website and survey; and interactive feedback boards.
